Hi, I've been making this one map for quite a while and the first part out of two map campaign is basicly ready, but...
I've have some problems with getting background sound effects to work correctly. The problem is that once some ambient_generic that is supposed to be looping at the background of certain area (with 'small radius' flag selected), it keeps looping at the background of whole map and even the damn menu for eternity, only thing that radius seems to cover is the volume of the sound. And it's is kinda messy to hear all of the sounds in the end of the map, I didn't ever encounter this problem in v3.0 and I've kinda tried everything (including a silly try to control these ambients with trigger_multiples, which just messed up about everything after diying xD), infact the sounds worked perfectly in v3, other difference in newer versions is that I had to flag every sound to 'start silently' and being triggered to start by player, since they wouldn't start automaticly on map load. Basicly my question is: has anyone else encountered this problem before? is there a way to "block sound" or some other good way to fix this... I apologize my bad english, (which propably makes this thread to look more foolish than it actually is...) and thank everyone who responses for their time.
Also, I know this isn't the best place to ask this kind of stuff, but I had an username in here, so I'm giving it a shot. Besides this is the best site related to Sven-Coop Custom mapping.

Also, is anyone interested to beta test this damn map after this final problem is fixed, I'd like to hear some constructive stuff before starting to finish part two... I wouldn't like to make same mistakes again that I might have done in part one. thanks. (screens for request.) I'm stalking you, you know.

I think this is a bug that will hopefully be sorted in the next release, not to sure how mappers can get around the problem for now Captain Scarlet aka Chris Smith
Well... Personally I will just ignore the problem for now then, and just gonna concentrate on the second part. If anyone else has found a solution for this, or something, I'd be glad to hear you out though. And thank you Scarlet for your quick response.
Btw, it seems that sound_ambients dont work correctly even in hl1 sc campaign, for example I didn't hear any cricets in areas that I remember them from... I'd still love to know, am I the only one facing this bug?
Anyways... Hopes up for next patch then. I'm stalking you, you know.
